Lhoop is built for parents who care about their families. We put safety at the heart of every transaction, so you can buy and sell with confidence.

Secure payments & escrow

Every transaction on Lhoop is processed through Stripe - a PCI-compliant payment provider trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. When you buy, your payment is held securely in escrow. Funds are only released to the seller afteryou confirm you've received your item in the expected condition. We never store your card details.

Verified community members

Every account requires a verified email address. Sellers who connect a Stripe account undergo Stripe's identity verification process. Member reviews and transaction history are visible on every profile, so you can see exactly who you're buying from before you commit.

Buyer protection on every order

Not happy with your purchase? Our Buyer Protection Policy covers you if an item doesn't arrive, arrives significantly not as described, or is damaged in transit. Contact us within 3 days of receiving your order and we'll work to make it right - including refunds where appropriate.

Tracking on every shipment

Sellers are required to ship with a trackable service. Once a label is scanned, you'll be able to follow your parcel's journey right to your door. If something goes missing in transit, our team will help you raise a claim with the carrier.

Report anything that feels wrong

See a listing that doesn't look right? Encountered behaviour that violates our community guidelines? Every listing and profile has a Report button. Our moderation team reviews all reports, typically within 24 hours, and takes action where needed - including removing listings or suspending accounts.

Your data, protected

We take your privacy seriously. Lhoop complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Your personal information is never sold to third parties. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time - just contact us.

Community guidelines

Lhoop is a community of parents helping other parents. To keep the platform safe and trustworthy for everyone, all members agree to the following rules:

  • Only sell genuine, accurately described items.
  • Ship promptly - within 3 business days of a sale.
  • Communicate respectfully and honestly with other members.
  • Never attempt to trade outside of the platform to avoid fees.
  • Do not list counterfeit, dangerous, or recalled products.
  • Do not share personal contact details in public messages or listings.
  • Report suspicious activity rather than engaging with it.

Violations of these guidelines may result in listing removal, account suspension, or being permanently banned from the platform.
