Our community standard
Lhoop works best when members treat each other like neighbours. These guidelines explain how we expect the platform to be used so buying and selling stays safe, transparent, and community-powered.
Communicate like you are dealing with another local family. Be polite, patient, and clear in messages, even when something has gone wrong or a sale does not go ahead.
Use real photos, accurate condition notes, and clear pricing. If an item has wear, missing parts, or limits on use, say so upfront so buyers can make informed decisions.
Do not list unsafe, recalled, counterfeit, or prohibited items. Follow product safety guidance, clean items before sending, and use age-appropriate descriptions where that matters.
Ship on time, share tracking when required, and show up for agreed pickups. If plans change, message the other member early so nobody is left guessing.
Keep payments and communication on-platform whenever possible, avoid spam or harassment, and never pressure other members into unsafe arrangements. Trust grows when everyone plays fair.
Report listings or behaviour that look unsafe, dishonest, or abusive. Our team may remove content, pause accounts, or restrict access when behaviour harms the community experience.
Visit our Trust & Safety page or contact support if a listing, message, or member behaviour does not match these guidelines.
