Lhoop uses Stripe to process payments and pay out sellers securely. Here's the step-by-step journey from listing to bank transfer.
Payments secured by
Go to Settings → Lhoop Balanceand follow the prompts to connect via Stripe. You'll need to verify your identity and provide Australian bank account details. This only needs to be done once.
List your item, accept an offer or wait for a direct purchase. Once the buyer checks out, payment is held securely in escrow.
Pack and lodge the item at any Post Office. In your Orders tab, enter the tracking number and a photo of the lodgement receipt to mark it as shipped so the buyer can follow along.
Funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt. If they do not, they release automatically 14 days after the order is marked delivered, or 21 days after dispatch if delivery is never recorded (whichever comes first).
Stripe transfers your earnings (your listing price plus the shipping the buyer paid, minus the Stripe processing fee) to your connected Australian bank account. The shipping reimburses what you paid Australia Post upfront. Most transfers arrive within a few business days of release. Your first payout can take a little longer while Stripe finishes setting up your account.
