How pickup works

Sellers can offer local pickup as a shipping alternative. Your suburb is shown to buyers so they can see whether pickup is convenient, but your full address is never shared.

You receive a notification

When a buyer chooses pickup at checkout, you'll get a notification with their details.

Arrange a meeting point

Use in-app messaging to agree on a convenient time and public location.

Confirm the handover

At the meeting, both of you confirm the swap in the app. That tells us the order is complete.

Payment is released

Once the handover is confirmed, payment is released from escrow to your account.

Safety tips

Always meet in a public place during daylight hours. Never share your home address. If something feels off, trust your instincts and reschedule or cancel.

No cash needed

All payments are handled securely through Lhoop's escrow system. There is no need to exchange cash at pickup.
