Seller fees & charges

Selling on Lhoop is simple. No listing fees, no subscriptions, no surprises at payout. The only deduction is the Stripe payment processing fee Stripe charges to handle the card.

Fee typeAmount
Listing feeFree
Monthly subscriptionFree
Marketplace fee (charged to seller)0%
Stripe processing(incl. GST)1.7% + $0.30

What's the marketplace fee?

Lhoop charges 0% seller fee. Instead, buyers pay a 7.0% buyer service fee on top of your listing price at checkout. You keep 100% of your listing price, minus only the Stripe payment processing fee.

The buyer service fee covers dispute resolution, fraud protection, and customer support, so buyers know they're covered if something goes wrong. Read the Buyer Protection policy.

How is the Stripe processing fee calculated?

When a buyer pays, Stripe processes the full charge: your listing price plus the buyer service fee. The Stripe fee is calculated on this combined total, not just your listing price.

Example: item listed at $50.00

Your listing price$50.00
Buyer service fee (7.0%) paid by buyer+$3.50
Total charged to buyer$53.50
Stripe fee (1.7% of $53.50 + $0.30)$1.21
You receive~$48.79

Stripe's fee is the standard rate for Australian-issued cards (incl. GST). The exact payout depends on the buyer's card type.

Any other fees?

No. Shipping is the flat Australia Post rate for the parcel size you picked, paid by the buyer at checkout. Lhoopdoesn't add a markup on top.
