Selling on Lhoop is simple. No listing fees, no subscriptions, no surprises at payout. The only deduction is the Stripe payment processing fee Stripe charges to handle the card.

What's the marketplace fee?
Lhoop charges 0% seller fee. Instead, buyers pay a 7.0% buyer service fee on top of your listing price at checkout. You keep 100% of your listing price, minus only the Stripe payment processing fee.
The buyer service fee covers dispute resolution, fraud protection, and customer support, so buyers know they're covered if something goes wrong. Read the Buyer Protection policy.
How is the Stripe processing fee calculated?
When a buyer pays, Stripe processes the full charge: your listing price plus the buyer service fee plus shipping. The Stripe fee is calculated on this combined total, not just your listing price.
Two tiers, depending on the buyer's card:
- Australian Visa, Mastercard or debit card: 1.7% + $0.30 (incl. GST). This is the lowest tier and what almost every Lhoop sale will use, since the marketplace is Australia-only.
- American Express or any card issued outside Australia: 3.5% + $0.30 (incl. GST). Lhoop still accepts these cards so you don't miss a sale, but the deduction on your payout will be a little larger.
The order detail and your wallet transaction sheet show which tier applied to each sale, with a flag next to the Stripe processing fee so you can see at a glance whether the buyer paid with a domestic or international card.
Example: item listed at $50.00
Worked example uses Stripe's domestic AU rate (1.7% + $0.30, incl. GST). For an AmEx or international card, the Stripe deduction would be 3.5% + $0.30 instead. Lhoop never adds anything on top.
Any other fees?
No. Shipping is the flat Australia Post rate for the parcel size you picked, paid by the buyer at checkout. Lhoop doesn't add a markup on top.
