How shipping works
How shipping works
Lhoop ships exclusively with Australia Post using prepaid flat-rate satchels. Sellers pick a parcel size when they list; buyers pay that rate at checkout; we handle the label.
Buyer pays shipping at checkout
Every listing has a parcel size set by the seller. The buyer pays the flat Australia Post rate for that size - no weighing, no surprises.
Lhoop emails you the prepaid label
Once payment clears, we email the seller an Australia Post prepaid shipping label. Print it, attach it to the satchel, and you're ready to ship.
Drop the parcel at any Post Office
Hand the parcel to Australia Post within 3 business days. No queuing at the counter - satchels can go straight into a red street box.
Tracking updates the buyer automatically
The tracking number is attached to the order. Both buyer and seller can follow the parcel from dispatch to delivery inside the app.
Payment releases on delivery
Funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt. If they don't respond, payment auto-releases 14 days after estimated delivery.
Parcel sizes and rates
Flat-rate Australia Post satchels. All satchels accept items up to 5 kg regardless of size - pick the size that fits, not the weight.

Packing tips
- Wash and fold items before packing.
- Use the smallest satchel the item fits in - prices are per size, not weight.
- Wrap fragile items in bubble wrap or clothing.
- Seal the satchel tightly and attach the label flat on the largest side.
If something goes wrong
If a parcel is lost, damaged, or arrives not as described, the buyer can open a dispute from the order page. Payment stays in escrow until the issue is resolved, and our support team steps in within one business day.
Only Australia Post
Lhoop currently supports Australia Post shipping only, with tracking included on every parcel. Sellers never need to visit the counter or purchase postage separately - the label is prepaid by the buyer at checkout.
