Pizzey Park pump track

Australia's largest asphalt pump track: a huge maze of rollers, berms and wall rides for bikes, scooters and skateboards.

Last checked 21 July 2026

The pump track at Pizzey Park in Miami is the largest asphalt pump track in Australia, a smooth black maze of rollers, banked berms and wall rides that you ride without pedalling, just pumping the rises and dips to keep your speed up. The riding surface is around 2,000 square metres on a 5,500 square metre site with native planting, shaded shelters and spectator seating, and it opened in May 2024.

There is a line for everyone. Little ones on balance bikes and scooters can roll the gentler outer loops, while older, more confident riders link the bigger rollers, doubles and three wall rides into a proper lap. It suits bikes, scooters, skateboards and skates, and the flow of the track means kids will happily lap it for hours.

It sits right beside the Pizzey Park skate park and the wider parkland, so it works as a half-day outing. Bring helmets and pads, a drink bottle and a bit of patience on busy weekends. There are toilets, car parking and picnic facilities in the park and shade shelters beside the track, but the track itself is open and unfenced, so keep an eye on toddlers on foot around the riders.
